The short answer
For businesses already on Microsoft 365, WaTo Consulting acts as the Adelaide admin team: adding starters, removing leavers, matching licences to real use, fixing Outlook, Teams and shared mailbox permissions, and checking security settings on a regular cycle. Changes go through a named admin account so each one is logged, and you keep your own admin access.
What does Microsoft 365 management involve?
We look after the admin side of your Microsoft 365 tenant on an ongoing basis: adding and removing users, assigning licences, fixing mailbox and Teams permissions, and checking the security settings every so often. When someone needs a shared mailbox, a new group or access to a SharePoint site, they ask us and we make the change properly in the admin centre instead of someone guessing their way through it.

One point of contact
A local team that knows your tenant instead of starting from zero each time.
Who it is for
- An office where the person who set up Microsoft 365 has left and nobody else has the admin password
- A business paying for more licences than it has staff, or for the wrong licence type
- A team that relies on shared mailboxes and Teams channels but keeps getting permission errors
- An owner who is tired of being the unofficial IT person every time a starter or leaver comes along
How it works
- We get admin access and take stock. That means listing every user, licence, shared mailbox, group and admin role so we know exactly what is in the tenant.
- We clean up what we find. Old accounts get removed or converted, unused licences are released, and permissions are put back to what each person needs.
- We agree how requests come in. Your staff send changes to one place, whether that is a new starter, a mailbox delegation or a Teams channel, and we action them.
- We review it on a regular cycle. Licences, admin roles and sign-in alerts get checked periodically so small problems are caught before they turn into a mess.
Why WaTo for Microsoft 365 management
- We keep notes on your tenant, so a request about a shared mailbox does not start with twenty questions
- Licence reviews often find accounts for people who left months ago and are still being billed
- Admin changes are made with least access in mind, so staff are not handed global admin to fix a small problem
- A local Adelaide team that has been supporting businesses since 2001 answers when you call
Microsoft 365 management questions
What does it cost to have someone manage Microsoft 365 for us?
It mostly depends on how many users you have and how often things change. A stable ten person office needs far less attention than a business with regular starters and leavers. We can quote ad hoc work or roll it into ongoing support.
Do we need to give WaTo our global admin password?
No. We set up our own named admin account so every change we make is logged against us. You keep your own admin access, and you can remove ours at any time.
Can you tell us if we are on the right Microsoft 365 plan?
Yes, that is part of the first review. We compare what each person uses against what their licence includes, and often find people on Business Premium who only need Basic, or the reverse where security features are missing.
